Coast Life Chiropractic COVID-19 Office Policies & Procedures
Strict measures are being followed to ensure the safety of Coast Life Chiropractic patients. Recommended guidelines by WorkSafe BC, the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) and the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC) have been put in place to help make your visit to the office as seamless and safe as possible. The following measures are being taken:
• As required by the CCBC, Dr. Klassen will conduct an interview with all patients prior to their visit to screen for COVID-19. This is a brief questionnaire conducted over the phone or via email. If there are no concerns, an in-person appointment will be scheduled or confirmed. Please see the below document from the CCBC on this policy:

• Please enter through the front door of the medical office. After your appointment, please exit the office through the side door next to Dr. Klassen's front desk. If you must wait indoors, there is adequate spacing between chairs in the waiting room.
• It is now mandatory to wear a mask inside the medical clinic and Coast Life Chiropractic's office. If you do not have one or forget to wear one, a mask can be provided for you.
• Dr. Klassen will be wearing a face mask for every treatment. Hand sanitizer and/or proper hand washing technique will also be utilized between appointments.
• All surfaces such as treatment table, desks, laser machine treatment head (and associated safety goggles), door handles and debit machine pad will all be sterilized with disinfectant wipes between patients.
• Direct billing for Pacific Blue Cross and ICBC are still available; Debit Machine provides tap-to-pay. Interac e-Transfer is also accepted.
• Please note, if you have tested positive for COVID-19, please complete your 5 days of self-isolation (if fully vaccinated) before booking an appointment. You must also be symptom-free before entering the clinic.
